Halloween Hawaii style

As I sit here at the Kilauea Bakery, trying to decide what to write about, the first thing that comes to mind is Kilauea.

It is a small town/beach town about 15 min south of where we live, in Princeville.

This is were the Fall Fun Festival was last night for Halloween.

They had different stations with balloon darts, petting zoo, angry birds(sling shot a basketball into some stuff trying to knock it down), jail (pay 5 tickets to have your kid "arrested" and put in a cell for 5 minutes~which we did and they came got Jalen:), smash car (pay 2 tickets to beat up a real car for 2 minutes), book fair, oh and Jalen's favorite~air soft gun wars.

Hallie was the most cutest and prettiest little hula girl ever!

She wore it well and rang in a ton of compliments.

Jalen was "Jason", the scary guy with a hockey mask~right up his alley.

He wanted to carry the real machete, but settled for one he made out of foam and duct tape.

When we left the festival, we dropped Jalen off in Princeville to go trick-or-treating with his friend Adam from Island School.

Joe, Hallie and I drove around looking for food, but eventually ended up at home having smoothies and leftovers.

Boooo...

When Jalen got home, I had him give me a snickers and a twix, then headed to bed.

It was a good first Halloween in Hawaii.
